What do you check in an empty property?
We agree accessible interior and exterior areas, visible utilities, moisture concerns and access points. The visit records what can be observed at that time; concealed defects need separate investigation.
How often are home checks included in Away Care?
Away Watch includes 1 visit per month, Away Secure 2 visits and Away Complete weekly checks. Every Away plan includes secure key holding and photo updates at its agreed frequency.
Are airing rooms and running taps included?
These are included from Away Secure during scheduled visits, and therefore also in Away Complete. They are not automatically part of Away Watch or every standalone inspection; we confirm the checklist.
Can you check a villa before I buy it?
For purchase decisions, use our separate Pre-Purchase Villa Review. It covers practical visible condition and likely maintenance needs. A formal structural survey or technical report must be commissioned from the appropriate specialist.
Can I book this service without a care plan?
Yes. You can arrange home & villa checks as a standalone service. Tell us what you need and we agree the scope, availability and cost. If you already have a care plan, we check what it covers so any additional work is clear.
